Rooms were clean and comfortable. Breakfast was above average, but ran out of one item or another during our 4 day stay. POOL IS STILL CLOSED after what seems to be reporting as 3 weeks now needing deep cleaning but no one working on it. Overall would stay here again if pool was open

Hotel was really nice and clean. Most of the staff was very friendly and that breakfast was good. Would have given 4 stars but on our way to check out my little girl got her hand caught in the elevator door. Thank goodness nothing serious but the lady at the front desk was very rude and showed no concern for my 2 year old daughter.

At check in, I had to wait in line for over 10 minutes. The 2 people at the desk were clearly overwhelmed and had no idea what they were doing. No apology for the wait. I was told I had to pay a deposit which is standard. What was not standard is charging my card for the hotel stay and the deposit in the amount of the hotel stay. I spoke to the woman at the front desk about the deposit. She stated she told me that a hold would be placed for the cost of the room and a deposit in the amount of the room. She did not say this to me as I was checked in by the male. She stated that the policy is on the Choice Hotel website and is a Choice Hotel policy. I have been to many Choice Hotels and never charged that much for a deposit. The room was average. The carpet was filthy and old. The bathroom counter was not clean. It had some kind of sugary substance on it. I wiped it down with the wash cloth but it was still sticky. The sheets had huge stains on them and the comforter had small slices and tears in it.

Issues began at check in. Why am I being charged for the cost of the hotel room as a deposit for an overnight stay? Then told if there are no issues the deposit will be released. No. This is not acceptable. When I asked for a manager he stated it was policy. When I asked for it in writing, he said it was up to his discretion. He stated if he cancelled the hotel room, I would be charged anyway. I agreed since I planned on calling the credit card company to remove the hold. We went to the room. It was dirty. It was barely cleaned. Fortunately I travel with disinfectant. This experience will make me cancel my Choice Privilege Rewards membership and never stay at a Choice Hotel again. Edit: The response says everything about this hotel owner and staff. 8 years in business means nothing if you don't know how to treat your customers and clean your rooms the last year. Other reviewers have had similar experiences to mine. I travel a lot. Never have I had the hotel room deposit equal 1 a night's stay. Also I have video of the room like we found it. It will be shared with Choice Hotels along with cancelling my business and personal accounts. I'll do us both a favor and never stay at a Choice Hotel again.

The fact they didn’t have enough extra pillows or blankets , covers were torn , pillows didn’t have pillow cases , majority lights didn’t work , shortage in bathroom lighting , staff was rude ! Neve again’ do not stay!

We stayed there in march for one night. The room was clean but dated. Most of the staff was nice but the lady making breakfast had an attitude. For the price we paid it was ok.
