Absolutely appalled by these people. My boyfriend and I were trying to do the right thing after finding a sweet dog on the side of the road. We got there and this older white lady treated us like we were the bad guys. We were unaware that you have to have a license in that specific county in order to drop an animal off. They didn’t educate us or give us direction on what the proper protocol is. This lady (I believe Karol) said in a condescending manner, “congrats, you’re a dog owner now.” 😡 trying to do the right thing..this sweet boy was missing his owner and these people did nothing to help us. They obviously are not there for the right reasons. Upon reading the rest of these reviews, I’m extremely disturbed by the staffing in that facility. I feel sorry for anyone trying to do the right thing/find their own animal..because you’re not going to receive any help here.

Absolutely rude group of people. They wouldn't take a dog that my sister found because I wasn't with her when she found the dog (we were together when we brought the dog to the shelter). It is almost clear as day they don't want any animals and will do anything to not take any rather than just say so. This older lady then tells us "congratulations, you have a new dog" with an attitude. They don't deserve business

Despite all the reviews about people being rude and stuff I actually received a decent experience. There were no rude people or a rude black lady at the counter. The place is small and the animals there seem to be pretty sad but that’s expected from a shelter. We came here to adopt our cat, Elsa. They took a week to contact us back about the adoption application. When we got Elsa she came inside of a cardboard carrier box and she came with two cat beds and some cat food(enough to last for a week or two).
