Told them my son had RSV with all the symptoms and they made us sit in a waiting area full of other newborns for over 2 hours. Do not recommend if you are having an emergency.

Came here for a C-section recently my C-section team was awesome! But the postpartum care wasn’t the best some nurses were hit and miss tbh. I appreciate them though I know their job is not easy. One nurse I had was a black Lpn she barely came and checked on me her entire shift she would say she was coming back with stuff never did (she was the worst ) I’m also black too so no I’m not singling her out bc of that. The cafeteria staff is also ghetto and rude. When we first got to the hospital I thought that valet was available but nope the joke was on us. We had to walk far to get to the hospital and the day we were released nobody offered a wheelchair or anything. There were fruit flies in our postpartum room (yuck). If I were you I’d go to trident medical to have your baby my experience was much better there my first pregnancy.

After being admitted into 2 hospitals prior to being transferred here we are so pleased with the Doctors and Nurses. We got answers. Very clean. The hospitality was unreal. Very very pleased.This place was a God send.

There are concierge located throughout the hospital that can provide you with a list of discounted hotel rooms and help you make a reservation at the discounted price. The Ronald McDonald house is another option for parents of children hospitalized in the Children's Hospital.

Yes. If you take him to the pediatric ED they can consult ENT if necessary. If you can wait for outpatient call the main scheduling number and they can get you scheduled. I'm not sure if the outpatient clinic is downtown or in North Charleston but they definitely have pediatric ENT services.

Ashley-Rutledge Parking garage on Ashley Avenue and Rutledge Ave. or Johnathan Lucas Parking Garage located on Johnathan Lucas and President street. MUSC has a dropoff area/15 minute waiting area in front. Use Ashley Avenue for drop off. Parking garages I believe are .75/hour. If you are there for longer than 8 hours you can have your parking validated for a maximum of $6 parking by bringing your ticket with you to the front desk.
