Chef Joe is the best cook 👩‍🍳 in Camden and the entire Kershaw County area and his assistant, Laurie is his sous 👩‍🍳 chef as well standing by his side preparing luscious meals for us the homeless ones and staff! Thx guys!

The person who answered the phone completely told me and my family a big lie. Came 2 hours away just to be told we couldnt recieve help.

I think I see something about the shelter I'm not faulting the staff and I'm not faulting the homeless people everybody in the state of South Carolina have problem this shelter welcome outsiders but they don't keep them and their to help them to get on their feet you must be a resident in Kershaw county get help I'm not talking bad about it I've been there done that and the staff there don't meet my need but I tell anyone about this shelter they give you free clothes free meal that's breakfast and lunch only if you don't stay there they will kick you out back on the street you just passing through that's it that need to change if a person is homeless and need help they need to help these people and get them back on their feet and that is my opinion

Have a 8 year old woman who's air conditioner just went out is there anybody out there that will let her borrow one just for the night or maybe tomorrow she's supposed to get to fix tomorrow afternoon but it's like 90° in her house right now

You should contact United WY tomorrow as our regular staff of directors do not work on the weekends. CCM could help or Habitat for Humanity general offices Mon. Through Friday. You might contact any local church for help as well or find her a cheap fan just to cool things down . I am 72 and grew up without ac and used fans to cool as a kid in Va. Beach,Va. please call any Social services agency tomorrow @ 9 am thanks 🙏 and God Bless your caring ❤️!!!!🙏🙏

I have a homeless girl and she's pregnant I have been letting her stay at my house. She's been here since Thursday. I'm pregnant also and I'm not able to keep her anymore. I don't won't to leave her in my house

If she isnt a kershaw county resident they will not help you. We are a family have a 8 month old child and was told by food for the soul that they would help us if we came all the way up here and when we got here they said they couldnt help us because we were not kershaw county residents. So united way was kind enough to put us in a hotel room for 2 weeks.

Where is the drop off for donation of food goods.
