Great staff hey hate to put three stars but great party Lake not for fishing I'm a fisherman if you want to catch fish go during the week not Friday Saturday or Sunday if you want to go fishing

Mike, no, our Wardens' Office only sells permits for our utility-owned lakes - Lake Bowen and Lake Blalock.

Hello, Ms. Richards. Spartanburg Water does not sponsor any fireworks on Lake Bowen, as they are prohibited in our park. Adjoining property owners surrounding Lake Bowen can and typically do shoot off some fireworks, but since those are for their personal entertainment, we do not have any information on who or how many will be shooting off fireworks from their property this year.
