Lovely shop featuring cool rocks and fossils. Knowledgeable, friendly staff. I really appreciate that they include information cards for each rock. They also offer mounts for each rock if desired.

They have a good selection, but I had a bad experience with the staff a few weeks ago. I came in with my friend looking around, and I noticed they were selling silver chains up on a top shelf above the area behind the register. I was caught browsing and was offered to try some on. I tried a couple on and found one I really like, but it wasn't the right size. I asked them to look if they had this design in other lengths, which became kind of chaotic because they had to look through multiple storage shelves. There was one employee with a rather large ego that kept getting involved with the conversation and interaction I was having with this other employee, who was actually very polite. Long story short, they did not have the size in the design I wanted, and I wasn't going to buy something I didn't like (obviously). The other employee got an attitude and started being quite sarcastic and rude, insinuating that all I did was waste their time. She pulled out a ruler and mockingly said something like here you can measure them so that it won't take twenty minutes next time. After she said that I became quite anxious and I thought it was very rude for her to do that. She was simply annoyed that I didn't purchase anything. But I would have had they had the right length. However, due to the awful customer service from this employee and the inflated ego contained within them, my business will be carried out elsewhere. It's unfortunate, because they have a great selection, but I don't like disrespectful people, naturally. Sorry!

Wonderful place to pick gems or jewelry. Fantastic supply of mostly cut and finished gemstones. Enjoy!

Hi Athena. We are a major importer and have deep connections in the business for resources that we don't import ourselves. Because of this, we don't buy from the public. But thanks for thinking of us. Take Good Care.
We have a variety of amber ranging from $6 for a rough blue amber pieces, to wish stone carved flat pieces for $16, to spheres and hearts in the $30's. We also have rough pieces of copal from Madagascar at various price points starting in the teens. Take good care. :)
Unfortunately, we do not sell them. Based on their size and condition they are typically several thousand dollars.
Enter the Earth is following the coronavirus mandates of both Buncombe County and the state of North Carolina. They just changed this week. While we can now return to 100% capacity, masks and social distancing are still required. Those unable to wear a mask can arrange for a virtual personal shopping session with a store manager for curbside pick up or mail order. Shared surfaces are being regularly cleaned and a hand sanitizing station is available at the front door. Finally, customers concerned about social distancing may book a private appointment 30 minutes before opening or after closing Monday to Thursday. Please book an appointment with our retail store at least 24 hours in advance.
They have a good selection of quartz.
Everything I've looked at has been reasonably priced. I have about 5 fave gem and mineral shops and Enter the Earth is one of them
