Penland's customer service is absolutely ridiculous and worst I have ever been apart of. I ordered a bedroom set in February. Four months later, delivery guys showed up and my dresser was not on the truck and was told it was damaged. Absolutely no communication from them until the driver just didn't have it on the truck. Additionally, my bed frame was not correct and the drawers were broke as well. After waiting this long all I have is a nightstand. No communication was received again and now I sit here with no dresser and a broke bed frame for who knows how long. They pretty much hold your money hostage and don't care about what happens to the furniture because they already have your money. When I called to discuss option, attitude from the lady that answer was given to the extreme. No compensation for inconvenience they have caused was even offered. I never even got a apology. Absolutely will never recommend and use them again. They don’t even deserve 1 star.

Very disappointed in post-sale service. My mother has ALS, so 3 months ago paid nearly $1,000 for a lift chair. It's not a piece of furniture, it's a medical necessity. It stopped operating with her in it. Had to call fire department to get her out of the recliner and into a wheelchair. Called Penlands several times. First time told no one of authority was there who could help me, but they would call back the next morning. Got no call back. Several times asked for a replacement or loaner until her's could be repaired. No for an answer. Now she's stuck in a wheelchair until repair parts get here in 7 to 10 days. This is not what I expected from the Penlands.
