My wife and I had an OUTSTANDING experience on the phone with Trisha Hall at the Athens, GA Social Security office earlier today. Was extremely friendly and polite, very knowledgeable, and most of all very diligent in helping each of us work thru issues we were having with signing up for retirement benefits and in taking actions to correct errors in my social security benefit payments. She was very thorough, took her time to make sure every question and issue was addressed, and quite frankly was the best customer service agent from any business of any type I can ever remember working with. Cannot thank Trisha enough for being so kind and helpful to us, and we hope to meet her one day so we can thank her in person! She is very special and should be commended for her excellent service ethic.

After going back and forth with the main Social Security office for two months over my application (which was being declined for the changing of the country code of Germany, I'm a naturalized citizen. Think this would be an easy fix, lol), I decided to go to my local office to see if they could straighten it out. Thanks to Gigi (phone contact who originally figured out the country code error), Barry ( rep I talked to at office), and Rick, (the supervisor who contacted the main office handling my application, and also actually called me at home with a status update), my application was finally approved. It's nice to deal with a government office and actually receive service above and beyond. Thanks for your great customer service.

Yes your Dr. Can unless he is saying your not disable.
Can my retired wife draw on my account
When you receive the next check after they have passed just take it to the social security office and they will stop the benefits
Just go up to your local office and add it on
Yes you can just try to get there early.
You have to show that you are a citizen of the United States American and the last time I did I had to show proof also of my address. Every thing changes so quickly.
Jeff, of course. I will lend my emotional support ! Your son needs not only MORE of your love and attention now that you have obviously rescued him from abusive , neglectful behaviors inflicted upon him..But he needs financial support from you. Caring for a teen is going to be very costly, Jeff. I pray that these funds are now transferred to you as you seek Permanent custody. God Bless.
Go to your local Social Security office and apply for a social security number and a a social security card bring all your important documents to prove she is a citizen God bless you all
You have go up there i did

Yes.

62. I believe.
No
Yes but you have to have required documents. Birth certificate, state ID drivers liscense. If woman and married have to have all proof of name change.
When you pass? It should go to your son
If it's on file, then yes.
2 to 3 business days. Sometimes sooner, depends on your bank and circumstances.
Some of the people don't know enough about their job. For instance a lady told me that I could get more benefit if I divorced my second husband and draw from my first. I got divorced last October and went to file when another lady said I couldn't file. Then I went to change my mailing address and mentioned it to a fine gentleman. He said that she was wrong and now I am receiving it.
Yes you may
Question our Social Security Office . I sure hope so .
Take your birth certificate up there
It will be on there December 31st
You need to call to the your local social security office and tell them what happened and they will be able to help you with that.
That I do not know but when you go in and you Know someone at the office your going to ask for them.
Call social security
You can do a walk in or call and make an appointment either one of them will work
I know this was a while ago but social sec will only contact you by mail and also if you have signed up for a my social security account they may provide some info for you in there but most will be mail. if you are in doubt print out the page email you are getting and go show it to them. most importantly don't cash any check and send money to anyone if they ask you to. Always speak to some1 at the office if you get contacted a different way. hope you are doing well and all the best to you.
