Food sucked Service even worse..no question why the grade was so low ..cant even sit and pretend to enjoy the food for all the teens showing out in the parking lot loitering is obviously unmonitered wheres the management of this place clearly not doing the work inside or outside to get good food out or outside making sure the nonsense and unruly caos isnt an issue not a people can actually enjoy unless your 13-19 and have no parenting or police presence to remind how to act in public see them everywhere except a place like that where theyre needed..i wont be back until this is corrected..

Cookout is a staple of everyday life for me as someone who works and goes to school full time and who also works late nights. I've been to every Cookout in a several county radius at least once and I can confidently say that this one is the best! I stop by regularly for lunch after school, and also for dinner when I have to work late, and the food is always fresh. Even the grilled chicken sandwiches are never dried out or old tasting which speaks volumes. I also deeply appreciate that this location serves fried okra. I love okra and most of the cookout locations near me don't. I actually live closer to the Shelby Cookout. I go to school and work near this location, but even when I'm leaving from home for a cookout run, I'll drive the few extra miles to go here instead because it's so much more consistent with quality (and did I mention okra?) Rarely, if ever, have I received an incorrect order here, and if I have it was something small like a missing condiment. The employees here go the extra mile to ensure accuracy and prompt service, and they're all very polite. Tonight I worked over two hours due to some pressing issues at work, managed to pull in 10 minutes before closing, and I STILL got fresh food and great service. To all the Morganton cookout employees: if you're reading this, thank you for being there for this hungry, tired girl no matter what time of day or night. Not all heroes wear capes.

Shut up Shirley this cookout is the biggest dump ive ever seen. Ive seen enough videos from the workers inside the establishment to never want to eat there again. Not to mention ive never had someone prepare my food so bad in my life. Whoever cooked order 2160 on November 27 2018 at 17:31 deserves to be took outside and put down because if they cant even make a chicken wrap they can't make it in the world
One should always check your order from there. It's almost like Every time I go.
Best thing to do is call in mid morning. Ask for the home office phone number. Don't tell them why.
They may not answer due to them being so busy.

I found the food is great
Went to walk up window ordered $25 worth of food didn't receive all of it. Tried calling Morganton store got fax machine. Tried calling corporate office only got voicemail even though they said they were open till 11pm 7days a week. Will not be back. Tired of being shorted by fast food restaurants
