This is some great Mexican, maybe even the best I’ve had in SWVA. The place is a little sloppy with subpar bathrooms and a weird aesthetic, but the food is GREAT! The fajita nachos were better than normal, while their molcajete was 🔥🔥🔥 We also enjoyed very large and potent, flavorful margaritas for $7. Wish we lived closer to this gem!

Venturing across the country came across this place while looking for some place to eat while we stopped to get gas! You instantly feel like your in Mexican when you walk in! Staff was so nice, and great service. Good was out of this world, so good! SAving to my places to eat! The homemade chips and salsa were amazing you could taste each flavor of ingredients, and so fresh! I ordered the 4 enchilada plate with each one being different and delicious! Will come back if we are in the area again!!

This is one of the best Mexican restaurants ever - superb service, family run, delicious flavors and a hidden gem! Such cool hand crafted chairs and booths. Highly recommend checking it out and super cold beer! The volcano is crazy picture doesn’t do it justice. Gracias!!

I thought this place was good and this was my first time ever, taking pics of a restaurant's menu to help out in providing an updated menu since those uploaded were old. Sadly, it was a terrible experience. Visited at night, place wasn't too busy with 2 waitresses. Blonde waitress seated us and took our orders. Order came and one of them was tortilla soup (taste wise it's a lil bland but add the lime and hot sauce and it's pretty good) but I was not given a spoon. 20 mins later.... seems like blonde waitress disappeared, so I had to flag the other mexican waitress to bring me one (and all our refills) as she was the only one actively serving the table next to us. Blonde girl came back to apologize that she was busy in the kitchen but disappeared again. This time, I noticed she was standing by a table and chatting with a male "lonely" customer for 15-20 mins. Mexican waitress was flagged down again to bring the check and they came back without a pen. We took a picture of the check to make sure they're not gonna add extra tips and left without tipping. Hope the blonde waitress enjoy cooking the "big fat egg(zero tip)" in her kitchen. Would've given 2 stars but the service doesn't deserve any star, the food was not too bad. With that many good reviews, it's prolly a hit or miss. Try at your own risk ~
