Fun and relaxing walk on the main trail with kids. Good view of the water. Clean, clearly marked and easy gentle inclines. Enjoyed the informative signs about local flora and fauna. The flys others mentioned were present but not terrible on a sunny 50 degree day in April but I can see how they might be bad near all that slow moving and wetland water near the trail, especially in summer.

Being a guy from Texas on a business trip during a pandemic, this was a wonderful place to get outdoors and walk around. I very much appreciate the work that has gone into creating this area and these trails.

Mind your business
I think the rule is that dogs should be on leash, but I've seen off leash dogs. It's a large enough area that there's a chance you don't see anyone, depending on the time of day you're out there. There are people that MTB/ fat bike in the town forest, so a heads up on that.
