WOW! This inn is an oasis, a labor of love, and a work of art. Built by Will and Lilia from trees felled and milled on the property. Will is a true artisan - every room is unique, and every door to every room is a work of art with its own story. Filled with custom made furniture, even the door frames are one of a kind. THe entrance hall with vaulted ceilings and wooden inlay fish pond floor are stunning. Look for the moving parts on some of the doors - bonus points if you find the Headless Horseman! The inn is styled to look like a European village or manor house complete with a sleeping dragon under the drawbridge. The complementary breakfast was delicious, and served in the "Bakery" room, overlooking the mountains. Hosts Will and Lilia are interesting and wonderful conversationalists. And to top it all off, there is a gym with a spa massage room (book a couples massage if you are traveling with a partner), and then soak in the outdoor hot tub.

Rented the Wilhelm house. 3 floors of amazing bottom floor was the sitting/entertainment and breakfast nook middle floor had a super comfy kings size bed and top floor had a queen way more room than my wife and I needed but I loved every part of it. The views amazing. Can only imagine how it looks in the spring and fall. This place beats out all the other accommodations in the area.

Absolutely Amazing place to stay. You will definitely not find another like it. My husband and I enjoyed every second of our stay here. Being there to see the place up close was a dream come true. There are details hidden everywhere. Great location, great staff, very friendly owners, clean, very inviting atmosphere. We also got the couples massage, life changing experience! Needless to say this was the perfect weekend getaway.

This is a gorgeous bed and breakfast right off the Blue Ridge Parkway. We stayed one night in the Captain's quarters and we were thoroughly impressed. The entire building is a piece of art. Every door boasts gorgeous handcrafted wooden art pieces. The furnishings are so unique and handcrafted pieces of art as well. I definitely want to come back and want to recommend my family to stay here sometime! The owners are super funny and personable. They added a ton of value to the trip just through their personalities. Another plus is the proximity to other attractions like devil's backbone brewery and the Wintergreen resort. Check this place out!

They do have a baking class and the shops are open upon request. It's a very small shop, it's not like a traditional shopping center.
