This was the worst camp I have ever been to. The camp staff had no idea what they were doing in almost every merit badge. They were overbooked, cramming 300 scouts plus 100 adults into a 200 person dining hall. Their campfire program was also terrible, with absolutely no scout spirit. Don’t go here.

This place was absolutely, utterly, atrocious. Out of my 32 years of scouting experience I have never been to a worse scouting reservation. The camp staff was horrid. Not only did they not fully meet requirements to the merit badges but the lack of enthusiasm towards scouting and its ideals was awful as well. The lunch staff couldn’t figure out how to make grilled cheese so our own assistant scoutmaster cooked the dinner for the entire camp. This was one of many times our troop stepped up to better the camp for the others rather then the camp staff. They were underprepared in every aspect, directly going against the scout motto. Never going back and I suggest others do not as well.

This camp was horrid. The staff were unorganized, low-enthusiasm, and were NOT qualified to teach the badges they were assigned. Furthermore, camp programs really lacked Scout spirit. Our Troop travels around every year, and out of the 32 years of different camps, this one takes the last BY FAR. The camp was also incredibly overbooked and the facilities lacked preparation for the amount of Troops that were there. This camp was extremely unsatisfactory.

I did not like this my friends dad had to cook for us because the chef left. There was no grilled cheese for lunch, the lunch line was an hour long.

You should talk to your unit's eagle coach to get a better answer, but as someone who has gone through the eagle process, i would say that a fund raiser does not qualify as a project. Most projects involve fund raising, but the end goal is to use that money to build something or provide some service. If the construction of the classroom is to be led by the scout, then this project will likely be approved, otherwise it may not qualify. Look at the eagle scout project workbook for guidelines. Hope this helped
