My first experience at Tequilas was a bit on the downside. I ordered a shrimp cocktail unfortunately the cocktail was over Frozen and did not taste anything like shrimp, I feel they did not put much effort into it as it was not tasty and very simply put together. I also ordered a mojarra frita that comes with rice. The rice was hard and tasted as if it was not freshly cooked that same day. I expected the restaurant to be super great as it looks pretty interesting inside. The service was not that great either my waiter never checked on me. I actually had to ask someone else for my ticket. I did see plenty of stuff but unfortunately not enough teamwork or effort to provide great client service, instead they were talking amongst themselves or standing around pretty much doing nothing. It was a bummer cuz I was really looking forward to it. I travel to Farmington quite often and wanted to make it one of my special places. The only reason I gave it one star and would recommend it, would be for maybe the drinks only because they were not cheap in adding extra tequila in my margarita. I ordered a banana Margarita although it didn't taste like anything close to banana, it totally gave me a buzz. Not sure if they made a mistake on that but at least I was relaxed for a bit.
