My 76 year old grandmother went to her doctors appointment. She was asked by the doctor how she was feeling and why she looked depressed even though my grandmother said she was perfectly fine. He prescribed her pills for depression? Who does that he is not a psychologist. After that he told her that she needed to lose weight or she was going to die! Getting her all worked up. All the doctor had to do was provide a check up like he was supposed to and put her at ease. He did not have to talk to her in the way that he did and I will be reporting him to the BBB. As well as the board of health. He needs to call and apologize to my grandmother asap!

Terrible experience! Atlanta healthcare facilities have to do better. I arrived for my 3:15p annual appointment at 2:45p and wasn’t seen by the nurse until 4:50p. The person at the front desk tried to text me forms to fill out but I never received the text message, so with the nastiest attitude she powered up the iPad and handed it to me - no instructions/no explanation. My appointment was over by 5p (closing time) and I was told that the phlebotomist had left so I’d have to come back another day for my bloodwork! How crazy is that!? I arrived well before my appt time and I have to take more time off of work to come back because you overbooked and were running behind schedule?? I walked out of the exam room and noticed the entire front desk staff had already left and the lights were out in the waiting room so I couldn’t even get my ultrasound appointment scheduled. I was told I would have to just call to get that scheduled. The level of unprofessionalism and inconvenience was beyond anything I would willingly put myself through again. I will NEVER return to any Southside Medical facility.
