I went to the Publix Pharmacy at Huntcrest for the flu shot and it took an incredibly long time even though they have a special table set up for the flu shot and only one person was ahead of me. Like 40 minutes total. They did not tell me the version of the shot I was receiving is sort of special (egg free one) and when I called later with questions they actually gave me wrong information about the vaccine that I am just now discovering. I don’t have an issue with vaccines, but I do want to know what’s in them. Anyways, a pharmacist should know what is in their flu shot and how it differs from other common versions. It’s not like I had an obscure medicine to ask about. This pharmacy rarely has a line, but I find it takes them a very long time to ring me up for some reason. It feels like there is no accountability. The location is convenient but that’s about all it has going for it.
