This is only my 2nd time coming to this nail shop and my review is NOT about the nail tech, Joyce. She was very courteous, listened to my needs, and has a pleasant disposition. However, whoever the man is that manages the shop (I think his name is Brandon) needs a business course in how to treat clients as well as how to talk about his business in FRONT of clients. You DO NOT tell your nail tech loudly to "hurry and do what you do because I have to go home and get my babies. We close at 7:30", or tell your other staff to sweep the floor near those same customers while we are still being served. You DO NOT rush through a nail service only to leave and come BACK to the shop. You DO NOT leave women alone in a shop at night with the door wide open either. You DO NOT reach over people w/o saying "Excuse me". He was unprofessional, disrespectful, and careless. The sad part is this is the 2nd time he's lacked professionalism. The 1st time he was told I was ready to pay for a service 3xs, and he never moved away from his seat nor did he ask anyone else to assist in my payment. Another tech had to come over from her client to assist. You NEVER forget poor business practices nor do you forget the way you're treated as a paying customer, and I asked my nail tech to MAKE SURE he knows exactly what I said. While I understand he wanted to get home to his DOGS (yes, the babies are his dogs and my tech did not tell me, I HEARD him), he could've communicated that to his staff in a professional manner where none of the clients could hear. I appreciated Joyce still remaining professional and caring about the service she provided to me during this situation. 1st AND 2nd impressions MATTER.
