My husband and I recently had our wedding and honeymoon here and we cannot compliment the place enough! Everything was phenomenal! The staff was so friendly and helpful, the restaurant, the Hideaway, was so delicious, the location was beautiful and so peaceful, our ceremony in the Secret Garden was gorgeous, I mean, the list goes on and on! We wanted to give a HUGE shout-out to Reggie, who performed our ceremony, and to Landon, who was our photographer. Both of these men were so great at their jobs and made us feel at ease amongst all of our wedding jitters. If you plan your wedding here and get either, or even both, of these men, you are extremely lucky and in for a great time! We were already talking about coming back as soon as we got there! Do yourself a favor and spend some time at Forrest Hills Resort!

Forrest Hills Resort is such a beautiful place tucked away in the mountains. After looking online at many wedding venues we decided on a whim to visit and loved it so much we booked it on the spot. Our family and friends all thoroughly enjoyed their experience, it was such a great experience. Levi and the staff work hard to ensure you have a great experience, and the food is so delicious! Cannot recommend them enough!

This place is amazing!!! No city lights, no traffic noise, great restaurant on site, huge comfortable beds, large tub, private porch with a swing. And that's the room I can only imagine what the private cabins are like. If you need a private or romantic get away I'd highly recommend this place.

Thank you for asking. We no longer have a New Year's Party but our neighbors (just 3 miles away) at Iron Mountain are having a fantastic concert! The beautiful town of Dahlonega also has a family friendly event on and around the square. You can enjoy their events and stay with us :)
Our previous guests are correct. All of our cabins and rooms are non-smoking. Most of them have covered porches, and there's also plenty of outdoor spaces where smoking is allowed. Hope to see you here soon!
Yes, it is open to the public. We offer dinner Monday through Thursday 6pm to 8pm and from 6pm to 9pm on Friday and Saturday nights. We are open for lunch Saturdays Noon to 4pm and offer a Sunday Brunch Buffet 11:30am to 2:30pm. We hope to see you soon!
Yes there are if I'm remember correctly between the gold coral and the rentals and the fantastic restaurant
