I saw the recent post from another lady. I was appalled today when I could not bring my baby back with me to obtain labs. It’s discriminatory for having an infant. My child was asleep in her stroller. Would not cause harm. I was not aware of the no child policy in lab. I work full time and am off on Fridays. I schedule all my appointments on this day. I did not have childcare today. I took my child to her well visit across the street this morning and was going to swing by to get my lab work done as scheduled. I could not take my child back and I wasn’t going to leave her in the waiting area. I had to cancel my appointments. I have taken my child to this lab before in the last year with no issue. She was in her stroller last time. Plus she has been to a few of my appointments with the docs. This practice has been great for my health needs but it’s not accommodating for my scheduling needs. I will need to look elsewhere. I would not bring my child if they were going to be a bother but I know she wouldn’t have caused a problem. Lab work takes little time. This is disappointing and discriminatory towards all parents. It looks like I am not the only one who feels this way.

Can someone tell the lady at the billing that when a patient receive a bill sometimes the description of services are not clearly defined. A patient can have two services per visit i.e lab and checkup OR lab and Ultrasound OR ultrasound and Checkup. So having said that sometimes its not clear that a patient billed for checkup or ultrasound per visit coz the the description just mentioned Exam of head and neck. So when a patient call to confirm this please make sure your tone is right! do not raise your voice please!!!

I'm 61 years old and was diagnosed with diabetes over 15 years ago. Nothing worked. I constantly got fatter (338 pounds), my overall health decreased across the board, my blood pressure shot up, and my kidney functions plummeted. Then I went to North Atlanta Endocrinology and Diabetes and saw Dr. Goswami and Family Nurse Practitioner Erin M. Henry. FNP-BC Henry got me on the right types of Insulin at the right doses, an oral medication that also protected my kidneys, and a Continuous Glucose Monitor. Dr. Goswami didn't waver from the cold, hard fact that I had to balance lowering my food intake with lowering my Insulin or all that Insulin would keep me hungry all day, I would eat and eat and eat, and things would continue to get worse. Both Goswami and Henry gave me tough-love encouragement and I bit the bullet. A little bearing with some hunger, a little lowering of the Insulin doses, watch the response on the monitor, lather-rinse-repeat. Now after only a few short months, starting from an A1C of around 10, and for the very first time ever, I am now A1C = 6.5 -- Controlled Diabetes! -- and I've lost weight and continue to do so. I've cut my Insulin almost in half so far, I eat about 40% of what I did before and get full way earlier, my blood pressure is down and I don't wake up feeling like I've just finished a day of hard labor. Make no mistake, folks: Dr. Goswami and FNP-BC Erin Henry have saved my life. And I shall be forever grateful. So, yeah -- Five Stars. BIG time.

I gave 2 🌟 because I like the doctor, but I feel the front office is conflict interest and unfare and treat patients is not equally.
