I love tags. Am giving 5 stars. For being the only diner in town, they do great. I do wish that they did not close at 2pm. I was told that they cannot find enough staff to stay open evenings. They are always extremely busy, but you can usually get a table without waiting.

Food and service is good. My fries were a bit cold and prices (like everwhere) have increased. Breakfast is served all day so if you want a great breakfast you can count on Tag's!

We stopped in one morning on a road trip after a barn digging. Driven by a few times & always wanted to stop. If you don't like old diners, don't go. If you like old diners & people who will stop at your table to chat to show off their adorable baby, good food & are willing to wait for your meal to be cooked, go. Place was clean, people friendly & the coffee kept coming. We ordered a chicken fried steak, everything omelet & a coffee. Honestly, one of the best diner breakfasts on the road we have experienced. Their homemade hot sauce was a total bonus. We dropped around $30 for 2 breakfasts, coffee, tip

In AZ the minimum working age for restaurants and grocery stores is 14 years old. So there should not be a legal reason not to hire a 14 yo. Make sure to speak to a manager, be polite but, let them know that you would like a job. If they want you to fill out an application do it. After you turn it in its very important to wait a few days and follow up on it. Call the manager, be polite and ask if they had a chance to look at it. It will remind them that your expecting an answer about the job. If they dont hire you apply somewhere else using the same process. The key to finding work is persistence. Dont be discouraged keep trying. Good luck.
