When the staff tells you they are for the Home and not the patience that should tell you all you need to know. Then be very careful because my Down syndrome aunt went in with her both were able to dress, use the restroom, walk and communicate. After the first 2 months I was helping my grandmother to the bathroom and found a plastic bag stuck to her bottom when I pulled it off her bottom was red and inflammed. I took the bag to the nurses station and asked why it was like that they seemed not to even care. They never even checked her. The next week she had a bedsore. I have photo proof, my aunt no longer communicates or has the will to live but they keep both of them there due to the fact my 92 year old grandmother never got guardianship of my aunt at 18 so they are refusing to let my grandma remove her from the home. Within 8 months she has been put on hospice. They dont listen to my grandma when she asks for her medical or her bill from the home. She can not leave for fear of what someone would do to my aunt when she leaves. My question if my grandma was able to sign her in then why cant she sign her out? Any attorneys got the answer to that?

IF YOU CARE ANYTHING ABOUT YOUR LOVED ONES NEVER EVER EVER PUT THEM IN THIS PLACE. AFTER MY MOTHER HAVE A KNEE SURGERY AND WAS A HIGH RISK FALL SHE HAD TO SIT IN HER URINE ALL NIGHT. THE NURSE NEVER CHECKED ON HER SHE HAD TO GET UP CHANGE YOUR OWN DIAPER AND CLEAN HER OWN SELF UP. I GAVE ONE STAR BECAUSE IT'S THE ONLY WAY I COULD GIVE A REVIEW IF I COULD GIVE ZERO I WOULD!!!!
