For anyone looking for estimated processing times, my document was received on August 24 and I got it back in the mail on September 14. I never found any estimated processing times so I hope this helps. (We mailed to the NYC office).

My experience at this office was fantastic! I had an Apostille appt for 4 documents on Monday 9/26, at 10:20am. I signed in at 10:12am and my documents were ready at 10:15am. I was back on the train platform by 10:18am. Amazing!! Be sure to have all your items in order: certified docs, application filled, and check/money order.

Some front desk staffs will give faulty information and they are not familiar with their job

If I came over your office, are you guys open? For walking
If you are a US citizen you can go to the US Embassy in the country you are currently located, they will assist you.
There seems to be lack of staff to administer the tests but you have to check the website to see when next availability will be.
$10 per document
Sure ...!! It is quick and easy to do it. Before you go, find out what do you need to do in order to get the job done .

Yes, they are open for walk-ins, however they won’t process right in the spot, they’ll ask you to purchase stamps with return labels. Once the Apostille is complete, they’ll mail to your home address within 3 weeks.
The system is a total mess. Make a appointment online don't even call.
It's a walk-in service, I needed no reservation for verifying a document to send it to get an apostille.
They are currently open for drop-off services only unless you qualify for an emergency appointment. Drop-offs are processed within 10-14 business days.
Then how does it work?? Do they have you wait outside? Or something? But you can still drop off?
You need to make an appointment online
It's best to fill out the application, they will call you need depending on the job you apply for you will be assigned a manager.
You need to schedule an appointment
SURE IF YOU WALK BY YOURSELF

Hi they are working by mail, send to their Albany Office the original with a cover letter, check or money order and a prepaid mailing envelope inside. For fees and address check their web page. They are currently taking 3 to 4 weeks to send back the document with the apostille.
I dont understand
First after getting the document notarized you go to the court house to have the signature authenticated then to 123 William's for apostille. It's not about what documents you need, it's more about is this the document you need to have apostille to use outside the U.S
For notary exam they do yes. Other services i'm not sure.
Not really, half an hour you're in and out. Just gotta be careful you have the proper documentation, which varies according to your need (education, government, etc.)
Can I authorize someone else to do it
Yes, you must have your documents notarized, then you go get a "certificate of authentication" of your notarized documents. After that you can bring them to this office to be apostilled.
Just a check or money order for $10.oo. and you're all set
It needs to be done before apostille. Go to 60 Center St downstairs, $3.00 in and out in no time. Then go to 123 William St and apostille. Done in half an hour or less $10.00.
It costs $10.00US. It takes 10-15 minutes.
