Usually one of the more crowded playgrounds in Ridgewood, which can be a plus if you want company for your child. We find it hectic at times, but it is right by the library so it's hard to pass. In additio, there is a big asphalt field for kids scooters, bikes, etc.

Is good park but early morning until 4 or 5pm after that is a real problem, people playing volleyball take advantage of the occasion to drink alcoholic beverages, children cannot play in that area they cannot even ride a bicycle and if it is the weekend after playing they play music at a high volume, neither the park management nor the police do ANYTHING about.

Park used to be it back in the day now its wack basketball competition gone handball still cool and play ground new for family and kids. Weekends terrible volleyball people think they run the park and I'm Hispanic tells you a lot always drunk people 😂 and terrible food they overpriced so good luck 🤞

Can I bring a cake and celebrate my daughter birthday. Or I have to ask someone for a permission

There are tables perfect for that! Just be wary you might have some uninvited guests (lol) because the park isn't that big. And knowing children once they see cake they'll run for a piece. Plus theres alot offlies and mosquitos so you'll be shooing them away quiet often. I hope it all works out!

It's a public park so no you don't need any permission, just make sure to wear masks and be as safe as possible!
