They have great hamburgers. You have to try the french fries with the gravy hippie fries excellent

Dining room is still closed but you can in in the take out area and stand and eat there or take it to go.

Rutt's Hut a NJ icon and home of the ripper. A ripper is a deep fried hot dog which splits open while cooking, tasty they are. Rutt's is also known for its birch beer drink.. Rutt's Hutt was established in 1928 as a roadside stand by Royal"Abe" Rutt and his wife Anna. They sold there life long work in the mid 70's 1974 I think and it's still going strong today. I am not sure if the same people own it today or not. Personally they can sell it to who ever they want but if they change anything it might be Rutts downfall. There are 3 parts to Rutt's Hut, a take out counter, a restaurant and a bar. Oh...they also make a hot dog relish which is outstanding. CASH ONLY....
