Looking for a place to jump in and grab lunch? Mercer Kitchen is a proper call. We didn’t have reservations but ate at the bar and the service and food was excellent. Wish there was more outside dining but it is NY.

This hands down has to be one of the most horrific experiences I've ever had the misfortune of experiencing, I don't know where to begin. We ordered and I specifically requested that onions wouldn't be on my sandwich and that instead of fries i wanted mashed potatoes..... a few moments later Adriana (server) asked me how I wanted my salmon......... I never asked for salmon....... the food shows up half an hour late without my mashed potatoes and with onions in my sandwich. Then I have to wait again, then leaves the fries only for the mashed potatoes to come cold. Then the other waitress takes the fries after Adriana said I can just have them.... sandwich comes and it's as if they took a knife to get rid of the onions.... no manager in sight, no refills or asking if we wanted another drink. but what i did see was her on her phone the whole time i waited for her to circle back to us. finally we get to the cheque which she didn't bring but did add the salmon in there that never was ordered which added more confusion to the guy she passed the table to. I've had better service at a chipotle frankly.
