I love John the Baker but just had a clam pizza delivered. Not only was it a half hour late but I ended up throwing it out. The slices were drenched in oil and completely inedible. I'm so disappointed since this is my neighborhood goto.

Placed an order on GrubHub at 8:44PM and app shows the order was confirmed by the restaurant. 10 o’clock comes around and suddenly the restaurant “cancels the order” because “ The restaurant canceled this order because they're out of a menu item”. Why in the world would you accept an order from the start if you don’t have it available ? I call the restaurant and the guy who answers says “yeah our machine isn’t working so we shouldn’t of really received the order”. What??? Terrible customer service. Call your customer from the beginning and say you can’t process the order.

Chicken Parmigiano was good, very tasty as well as the house salad. Wine was marginal but had low expectations. I came in between lunch and dinner and the restaurant was very slow. One would have expected outstanding service given the lack of anyone else in the restaurant. However it was the exact opposite. The sever waiting left before I was served and never returned and no one else checked on me. After I leisurely finished without anyone checking on the quality of my meal or did I want more water or wine I waited more than 20 minutes to get my bill.
