We had a great fourth of July out there! Make sure you wear plenty of sunscreen and take a paddle even if you have a tube. We didn't have one and bumbed into plenty of rocks and fallen trees. My husband lost his prescription sunglasses on the white water part on the end. Over all our 8 and 2 year old also had a blast.

We had an amazing time! The water was chilly but it was 100 degrees outside literally so it was so refreshing and relaxing. There's a few little rapid areas that make it super fun! Plenty of room, nice and clean. Looking forward to going back!

A beautiful place to bring the family. Enjoy the River View, enjoy the Kayak/Boat dock. Use the walking trail.

Bathrooms and dressing rooms available. There are also picnic tables that are covered and several benches scattered around. We floated the river and got out here. When we dropped off our car at noon there were cars parked every where but no people. It was very busy in the late afternoon by the water and all over the parking lot. The lot was full of people, tubes, vehicles. This is a popular spot to take out on a float. When you get out you can exit to the left before the white water if you choose. Several tubers were going over it with little difficulty. There were some white water kayaks playing in the water. The only bad thing about this place besides the crowd was the 2 cop cars that were parked there.

Yes. There is a tube rental and shuttle service that will take you back to Remmel Dam. They run Friday through Sunday. You can call them at 5018889111.
Yes but the water is freezing cold. Be careful out there. Its beautiful and alot of fun.
Yes ,during the week there aren't many people and it is very peaceful this time of the year
Unfortunately you will have to locate a company that provides this, as the park itself has no services for rentals or shuttles.
there is camping at Lake Catherine state park but I don't know of any camping places between remmel dam or white water park. mostly private land on either side of the river. may check upper Ouachita near Mt. Ida I think there are river camp sites there with the local outfitters I'm sure.
No there is no where to rent. You must bring your own.
Just show up! Make sure you have vehicles at both ends
Holiday Inn Express
Not any more. That may change between now and July, you never know.
