This is what NYC used to be all about...a single specialty shop with great knowledgeable people eager to assist, teach and help buy or sell quality prints and maps. This is a gem of a store and lots of fun for anyone interested in this particular art form.

Greetings Ms. Walsh, The Old Print Shop represents the estate of Harold Altman - so at this time we would not be interested in acquiring additional works. Thank you for considering us. Kind regards.
Best to give the Shop a call - we can start the authentication process over the phone with a few questions.
I It sounds like a reproduction after the painting entitled "The Marriage of the Virgin" by Raphael. I'm guessing it is a 19th century engraving. A phone call to the Gallery would probably answer your specific questions much faster...
Which prints do you have? Please send more information; artist, title, etc. Thank you!
The Old Print Shop is interested in original early views of New York City in good condition. Please call the Shop to proceed.
Unfortunately, we do not have the Rand McNally World History Series wall maps.
We do... and are interested in learning more about the pieces you have. Please contact the Shop directly (212) 683-3950.
Yes, we do have views of Reims, France. Not many, but on a quick look I saw two - one 17th century birds-eye-view entitled REIMS EN CHAMPAGNE and another, more a detail in the city, entitled LA CATHEDRAL, REIMS by Lester Hornby, 1915. If you call the Shop we can send you links to see images and more details. 212 683-3950. Thank you for your inquiry!
Greeting Mr. Blumby, We have a nice selection of etchings by Chaim Koppelman - and work directly with the artist's estate. We have no records of ever having an etching entitled Retrospect. I have no information or images to help me place a value on the piece you have. One suggestion that might be helpful is to visit the Old Print Shop website. Put CHAIM KOPPELMAN" in the search box. You will see the work available with technique, sizes, and retail costs. Thank you for contacting us.
