Let me first say that the lady at the desk ..well.. she was pretty cool. Her dog was a bit aggressive for a little thing. However it was Pretty expensive for rather small rooms. Smelled of smoke and One room had the LOUDEST running water in the shower I've ever experienced..seriously, it would drown out the TV and everything else (no pun) Practically waited a half hour outside in the snow/rain for the attendant to unlock the outside door so I could go to the pay window to rent a room..basically $80 in the off season... No extended stay or discount for renting more than a day. No breakfast. 1 outside pop machine.. but if you're stuck, it's there..

Cool Crush

Not a bad place to stay. It's not 4-5 star lodging but it is the only option in Noel other than camping, cabins, or B&Bs. The room we got was a little musty when we entered but this place had been under water many times from floods. Our car air freshers worked wonders. Considering that, they really have done a good job getting the motel cleaned back up and for the most part you would never know. They have a nice dock area, and ice machine, and grills. The grounds and building itself is very well groomed and kept up. Deep cleaning has not been done in a little while in our room. I dropped my plastic bottle of water on the tile floor and went to dry it up with some paper towels. The towels were almost black. So we just made sure our shoes were always under us if standing upright. I mean we have just made that a general practice in a motel/ hotel but you know. Other than that and it just being an older motel it really isn't that bad.

The views were wonderful! The staff was helpful as could be and you could there had been recent updates. It was a great place with great beds and very clean rooms. I'd certainly stay again. Take a moment to talk to the lady at the desk, very pleasant.

Stayed a few days here. The rooms are nicely decorated with super soft beds. Lots to do from fishing/swimming from the dock to lounging on the back patio and enjoying the peace and quiet.
