The 2 ladies that answered the phone (Megan and I didn't catch the other woman's name) were so kind and helpful! Once I arrived the man at the check-in area of the ER was super nice. Then, once the doc came in to see me, he ACTUALLY read my chart prior to seeing me!! They got me in and out quickly. I hope you don't have to go to the ER, but if you do - this is the one you want to go to!

Overall experience here was awesome. My wife delivered our beautiful baby here. It wasn't easy but they made it less complicated. I appreciate everyone who made me smile as a new father.

Really bad experience at the ER, and I'm not the first to complain about their nurses. Pretty sure one of the names of the nurses was something like "Sandra" along with another female nurse. First, they put my mother in the same room as another patient who was repeatedly throwing up all over the room as her father was waiting hours for their discharge papers. Nurse came after half an hour and barely seemed to care about the issue my mother was having and was extremely vague and unprofessional. Like fix the attitude and be the professional you were trained to be. Then another half hour the other nurse popped up getting offended when we and the other patient complained about the service (not even in a rude way) and she took it way too personally. Immature staff to be completely honest and a big scare to witness this as a healthcare worker myself. The future for Healthcare and patient services is down the drain for this place. The other patient ended up leaving too.

They should....make sure you ask to talk to financial department about the bills...for payments ,discounts. Most hospital have it.
If you need the official birth certificate it can be requested at the courthouse in the county he was born in. Otherwise you can get it through the Texas Department of Health and statistics. www.dshs.texas.gov/vs/reqproc/certified_copy.shtm
I suggest calling them to find out. In the weeks I was there i didn't notice any evidence of that.

I'm not aware of any cafe on the first floor, but there is a bistro on the second floor that serves a variety of food and beverages.
I think majority are in the Physician Pavilion or hospital. It just depends on who your looking for.
