Any injection can hurt, but the needles used for Botoxinjections are very small, so pain is usually minimal. The area can be numbed with a topical anesthetic cream or cold pack 10-20 minutes before the injections are given, so you may not feel much pain, if any. Most of our patients don’t feel anything and return to normal activities following their injections.

You can have Botox pretty much anywhere, but the most popular area for Botox is the face. For example if you have a bump on your nose and you wanted to reshape that you’ll see results from surgery immediately as the nasal tape is removed usually about Day 6.

Results will vary based on the person. Factors affecting how long your filler actually last includes the product chosen, the amount used, the location of placement, and the speed at which your body absorbs the filler. Due to these factors, we see a variation in how long filler lasts, with some absorbing it faster and others having evidence of filler much longer than two years. Filler aftercare is important to your comfort and outcome. After receiving lip augmentation the most common concern is how to reduce swelling and bruising after lip fillers. For optimal final results, it's important that you follow these guidelines for lip filler after care for 24 to 48 hours after your treatment first. Avoid excessive or very strenuous exercise including yoga or activities that include bending over at the waist. Use an ice pack on your lips off and on throughout the rest of the day and the following morning. Avoid excessive heat such as a hot tub, sauna, or hot beverages.
