(1) If you’re bringing yourself to the urgent care and have trouble walking. Be prepared to park far-away from the entrance because there’s only signs for “patient drop off”. The side entrance parking lot taken by staff. There are more than enough disabled parking places, but one who is temporarily disabled will not have access. This and many other Wexner locations NEED valet parking signs that are large enough to see. As a person with a foot injury and limping should not have to put themselves in harms way to cross the parking lot and pass two crosswalks to gain entrance for urgent care. I walked 100 steps from the first parking space next to disabled parking. I limped inside to see a person sitting behind a valet desk. So frustrating! (2) I was seen in urgent care by a NP. I was not done asking questions and she opened the door and stood in the door way with the door wide open. I asking legitimate questions. Then I when asking how they were going to care for my injury the NP said the specifics. Then the nurse came in and did a sloppy job and pressed unnecessarily hard on my injury without gauze. When I got out to my car it was bleeding because of the pressure and negligence. The way my broken bone was positioned, it hurt worse than it did prior as it was taped in an unnatural position for my extremities—not a common position. (3) I had legal questions and after care questions for the NP while the nurse was wreaking havoc on my body. Then a random male nurse bursts into the room asking for supplies from the nurse who was attempting to wrap my broken bone. (4) Patient relations complaint line is an absolute joke. They kept talking over me while I was trying to answer their basic questions. Then repeating my answers with wrong numbers and spellings. I did not complete the call with them as I said, “I will call back another time to speak with a professional”. (5) I could hear everything between a doctor, nurse, and patient through the walls. I know who he was because we both were talking in the waiting room. Now I know way more than I should as a patient. From the time I entered the building to the time I left, every person I encountered was inexperienced and yet proud to work for OSU. Note to any staff, that Block O should not speak for you. It does not represent you…you represent it…respect it and patients. No one is entitled to work for OSU. Word to the wise: This is a one party consent state. Record every single interaction with the medical system. Know the medical and nursing board phone numbers and do not give the medical staff an excuse to treat you with nothing less than respect and dignity—it’s your basic human right.

I actually work there. It is a great place for patients due to having several departments under one roof, including a Lab.

Whatever gentleman was closing the front of the lab just now 9/13/22, thank you! I was the pregnant lady in need of help and you went above and beyond which is so important!! Awesome staff member, deserves a raise.

The entire team there with Advanced Immediate Care (1C) at Outpatient Care Dublin did a phenomenal job today. I couldn’t of had a better group to care for my autistic 14 year old. Very thankful for them and their services and expertise. Definitely would recommend
