I Paid for my rental online when I went to pick it up I was told no that they can not rent to me because Equafax said so. The guy was rude and nasty about it. My wife went to rent from them a few years ago and the guy was more interested in the beautiful lady with a fantastic body he did not charge her a deposit. when the Lady's husband came in to see what is taking so long he just dropped his jaws and refused to rent to my wife. I will never go rent from Budget here in Saint Joseph, MO ever again. It was so bad I went out and bought a car. Now the policy is you MUST have a Credit card. I would give it a Zero rating but it wouldn't let me.

Charged double the rent after 5 months of steady renting from Mo at St Joe, MO Budget, and have even brought my sister in. Our combined monthly rentals are $1400. On 7/28/20, was charged a hold of $1200+ after I was told the charge would be around $200. My bank went -$1000, the charge went through although I had placed just enough on the bank card to allow for this transaction as agreed to and rate stated by MO, the owner. Mo wasn't forthcoming about these charges. Late fees and such is assessed by the owner according to Budget customer service. Mo told me I would have more time to get together the amount I needed for the next rental, but failed to tell me I would be paying almost 3 times as much. Previously rated 5 stars, but I think now I'm going to have to find a new rental option. :(

St. Joseph, MO Budget Car Rentals A+++ Have done business twice and have gotten wonderful service. We have reservations for our third trip. The man in charge bent over backwards to correct a misunderstanding, he made sure we had the right size vehicle for what we needed. We highly recommend this location.
