It's not uncommon for a facility to suggest moving your loved one to a nursing home if they require more care than the facility can provide. Our certified caregivers can provide that extra one-on-one assistance needed to keep your loved one comfortable without having to move them to a nursing home. Yes! We are currently hiring CHHA caregivers to provide hourly or in-home care. For home health aids not yet certified, Seniors In Place has a scholarship fund to help you obtain certification. We take the health of our seniors and caregivers very seriously. For this reason, we've adopted the following COVID-19 protocol, which we update on an ongoing basis to stay in compliance with CDC guidelines: - We prescreen all caregivers. We carefully meet and exceed all CDC guidelines. Our Director of Nursing re-writes the Seniors In Place protocol on an ongoing basis so that we’re always in compliance with these guidelines. - We supply all caregivers with gloves, N95 masks and KN95 masks, and, in some cases, other personal protective equipment to ensure both the caregiver’s and the senior’s safety In order to maximize safety, we limit the number of caregivers per client right from Day 1. - We offer hourly and live-in care and the family is always in control, in conjunction with Seniors In Place, of the schedule.
