One of the best I think the hardest thing is writing a review about a place like a hospital, but this is one of the best hospitals I have been to in NJ , it’s a lot like Montefiore in NY, Dr and nurses are very nice , caring , even the security guard are very gentlemen , unfortunately I have been to emergency for me and my family so many times, it’s always the same treatment, respect, caring, and very professional. Thank you so much , and I hope not to see you guys at all ❤️

I am sitting with my 88 year old mother who fell at 8:30pm. We arrived at Valley Hospital ER at 9:30pm. It is now 2:00am. At 1:45am xrays and a cat scan we’re done. Still no results. The er doctor said he would take care of everything (a deep cut on my mom’s finger that needed to be cleaned and make sure she was given her medication) The doctor and the nurses just smile and say they will take care of everything and nothing gets done. Most of the staff sits behind a glass window and stays on computer. This was the worst er experience .

I don't think I'll ever return to Valley hospital for any reason. I had a terrible maternity experience here 2.5 years ago and a terrible ER experience a few nights ago. I would rather drive to hackensack or even morristown. Everything the doctor told me was not wrong with me, ended up being wrong with me. He told me I couldn't have pain medication while pregnant and didn't consult with the OBGYN on call, and my OBGYN said pain medication is fine while pregnant. I ended up on antibiotics even though he assured me that I didn't need them, ended up with a root canal even though I was told there was nothing dental going on. He said he was going to run a full viral panel as I had recently had a covid test. Instead I waited 3 hours for a repeat covid test. I was sent home with tylenol. If I hadn't immediately followed up with my OBGYN, Dentist, and Endodontist I could have ended up with a terrible infection while pregnant. I understand that there's an opioid crisis, but if you have a pregnant woman, crying in pain for 3 hours, you should do a little more than a covid test and arbitrarily decide it must be sinusitis without any evidence.

My dad came here for abdominal pain in the middle of the night and Kaitlyn did a great job of keeping me updated throughout the night. Thank you 🙏🏻
