Never imagined a place like this existed. It's massive. And very beautiful.

Just spoke to a woman at the Holy Cross cemetery business office by the name of Linda at approximately 1:30 on March 30th 2022. I attempted to explain to Linda that my siblings and I were interested in selling a cemetery plot that we own at Holy Cross. After about two brief sentences, Linda stated to me and interrupted me in a very nasty fashion and stated "what's your question"? I was and still am very shocked by her behavior towards me. I needed to explain the details of my situation, however she was not interested. I do not know this woman but it was obvious that she is very unhappy at her job. If this is the manner in which she receives grieving family members, it is very sad. I intend to meet with the Director in person to discuss further. This is a very high price cemetery and grieving families deserve better.

Beautiful masoleum

This memorial in Holy Cross Cemetery in North Arlington, includes two metal frames, evocative of the Twin Towers, connected by a stained glass cross. Four etched titanium panels depicting photographs of various scenes from the day of the attacks surround the sculpture. The path on which the memorial sits is in the shape of a cross.

Depending on the location and type, the cheapest is around 2K, if you're being cremated, it's less than 1K. But expect to spend extra on the tombstone base, service, etc.
Before they take the Christmas tree down
If you tell me where Trooper Byrne is at I will be happy to go do it for you I go see my son everyday his name happens to be Joe to Sending prayers
There’s an online search database you just have to put her name in. It will return distinct location numbers
You need to call or stop in Holy Cross Mausoleum. They would be able to answer your questions on pricing and availability.
First and last name plus birth and passing dates would be helpful then go to main office and they can give u section, row and number
Go to office will give you a map
I think so but You always can ask to the office about any doubts...
They will just recommend you to a monument company in the area. You're better off googling monument companies in the area and reaching out to them for their prices.
If you're talking about the silk flowers in a small metal vase, I paid a one-time rental fee of $300 (2015 price) plus $150 a year for the silk flowers. They change the flowers quarterly. If you fail to renew the flower subscription they'll remove the metal vase.
No not a regular body i believe just a cremation
Different cemetery
I know you can put a coffin and an urn in the same crypt, but I don't think you can put the ashes in the coffin. I think this is more a Catholic thing than a cemetery thing.
Looking for Joseph Savino died April 20,1970
There are different types of headstones. Verify with the staff at Holy Cross which type is permitted in the section of your plot.
Does anyone know what the name of the North Arlington restaurant that is now Somas on River rd?
8am to 4pm
Section 25
Both urns and coffins can be stored.
It's not a church. They have chapels by 3of the doors but you're allowed to walk through them whether there's a mass going on or not. The mausoleum is open 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. . In the summer months it stays open late on Wednesdays until 6:30 p.m. The cemetery is open till 5 p.m., but obviously also stays open late on Wednesdays in the summer.
You should probably call the cemetery and ask
Stop by the office or call before you go-the website says no one is there-I just don’t get it.
Prices vary wildly depending on location. You have to contact them directly.
