Beautiful lake. Water is so clear! I walked the bank while my husband fished. Saw bass, gar, and lots of little fish. Very nice stop on our quest to see all the Georgia state parks!

A very nice park with awesome access to a great lake for kayaking. The only thing that kind of annoyed me was not being able to book the premier site in the campground (we're one site away) only to see it vacant the entire time we were here. At least the view of the lake stayed uncluttered. We definitely recommend this campground and there's fuel and a Dollar General a mile or so down the road. Weather was phenomenal (end of September)! The bathrooms/shower can be a bit of a walk from some sites and although you have water and electric, you're on you're own for septic (usual for a State Park).

I'm Kathryn Perry. Myhusband, two grandchildren and I stayed there for five days. It was the best vacation ever. Almost every site is waterfront. You can fish or swim anywhere in the lake. The campground is beautifully tended and very quiet. The people who work there are very friendly and helpful, especially one lady at the gate, who went out of her way to be helpful. We will very happily go there again.
