Just wanted to give a shout out to how great this chamber is. They are doing both virtual and in person events. Everyone is wearing mask and distancing when in person. Check out the event calendar to see what is coming up and be sure to register for events even virtual.

If you aren’t a member of the Gwinnett Chamber of Commerce, you’re missing out...and your business is missing out. The networking, round tables and informational events can help you grow your business and connect you with other business leaders. Events are offered continuously with most being available virtual during the COVID-19 Pandemic. I highly recommend membership in the Gwinnett Chamber of Commerce

I am a relatively new member of four weeks and I have been very impressed with the networking events and the staff leading those events. If you are a business that would like to grow, the Gwinnett Chamber provides the right environment to support you in your efforts. From business support to community involvement, it is a top shelf organization.

10 years ago, I walked into the Chamber as a stranger. Since then, I've started a business, been acquired, found a company I love to work for, built business relationships, built close friendships, and found amazing volunteer opportunities, all with incredible support and resources from the Gwinnett Chamber. It has impacted my life immeasurably, and the people who work there genuinely care about my success. Businesses find value here even when this isn't their target market for new clients through programs like Gwinnett Young Professionals, the HR continuing ed program (HRMA), community involvement opportunities, and much more. You can attract and retain employees by investing in them and building community through the Chamber's many programs. Yes, I'm a bit of an evangelist for my Chamber. I appreciate what it has done for me and so many people I know, and I want it to continue to thrive.

Unfortunately, there is no senior center there. But if you are interested in volunteering, you should visit Explore Gwinnett located on the second floor. If you are interested in more activity like stuff then the Norcross Co-Op is a good place since they have a senior center there.

Not necessarily, however you would be limiting your business to operate as a sole proprietorship. Every thing would be under "your name" as your "business" which makes you persoally liable for any potential damages.
