Nice selection but I was there about 30 minutes & no one greeted me or asked if I need help though I saw people (I assume) helping others. Maybe it was a fluke. I was very confused & have social anxiety so it was hard enough to get/be in that space and to feel unseen didn't help. I'll try again & hope twas a fluke because the plants were lovely.

Yes, they do! I would give them a ring to see exactly what species. They are super helpful and knowledgeable about all the plants. Much Luck to you!
Hi, and thanks for your question - those are both great plants! At the moment we don't have any arisaema in stock. It's hard to get; we only see it available from our growers on a very limited basis, usually in late spring/early summer. So far this year there hasn't been any available. Re: lady slippers, we have actually never carried those. You may want to try Lady Slipper Nursery (I think they're in Woodstock) for those. Happy gardening!
Hi, there! We had three different varieties about a month ago, but now we're sold out. Hopefully we'll be able to get some a little later this spring.
We have one called 'Audrey' which is different from what people usually think of when they think of ficus. The one most people think of is Benjamina, but we don't have any of those at the moment.
Hi, Theresa- We don't carry sago palms. They are tropical and often don't survive the winters here in Atlanta. You may be able to find some for sale in the houseplant sections of other garden centers. On a side note, please be aware that sago palms are extremely toxic to dogs. Ingesting even a small amount can cause life-threatening illness. -G*H
They do, in season. Including some heirlooms.
They require appointments to shop (which are only 30 minutes each so don't be late), masks and it's all outdoors except a small area with indoor plants and payment.
We do! We held classes almost every weekend before COVID. We haven't restarted our schedule just yet, but once the vaccine is more widely available and we can safely gather in small groups, we will definitely offer classes again. The best way to hear about them is to get on our email list and/or follow us on Instagram.
Henna is such an interesting plant! I wish we carried it. We simply don't have a regional source for it. You may want to see if it's available from a reputable mail-order plant nursery. If you do find some, remember that it's a tropical and needs to be kept indoors in very bright light until temps are above 45 degrees. Good luck in your search!
I'm there now, and it doesn't appear they do. But check back because inventory changes. They do have yucca plants
Last time I was there about two weeks ago they said they expected the veggie plants soon. I would try calling... they're very responsive.
Hmmmm, not entirely sure. I would suggest perhaps trying a landscape supply company (a place like our friends at Cummin Landscape on Memorial Dr) or a building supply company.
We don't have any eucalyptus plants in stock at the moment. If you're looking for cut stems, try a florist or the State Farmer's Market.
Cheaper than some, more expensive than others. It all depends on the size of the plant and how rare it is. We will say, though, that each of our plants is hand-watered based on its individual needs. We don't use automated irrigation.
No seeds, but we do carry a variety of tropical and cold hardy succulents as well as potting soil specially made for cactus and succulents.
Garden*Hood sells annuals, perennials, trees, shrubs, and edible plants. All of the staff are friendly, knowledgeable, and able to answer questions about the plants in stock, proper planting techniques, and on-going care and maintenance strategies.
Hey, thanks for reaching out! Bosain trees aren't something we carry. Good luck in your search!
Hi, Christy- We are not set up to accept compost scraps at this time. You might want to look into a company such as Compost Now that can handle raw compost.
Hi, Gwen- Unfortunately it's not something we generally carry. They rarely survive our cold, wet winters here in Atlanta. They *might* work as a houseplant if you have a spot with lots and lots of direct sun. Good luck in your search!
They will walk you through what you need to know. Very nice and knowledgeable people.
Yes, we deliver!
Hi Madonna, We sure do! Our rate is $15 for the first mile and an additional $5 for every mile past that. Let us know if there is anything else we can help with! -Halley
Not sure. Try calling them.
