Lori the nurse in the office has zero compassion for patients and zero patience for dealing with the elderly. Completely unwilling to assist in emergency situations. This practice has had my 80 year old dad on the same insulin for years and refuses to adjust it or even talk about using something better suited to his needs. Shannon M Barillare, MD Needs to reevaluate why she went into medicine in the first place.

Dr Barillare and her Staff are amazing! I’ve been fighting diabetes numbers for 3+ years, I just moved to Boardman/Canfield area a year ago, had to find a new doctor and have been seeing Dr Barillare for only 4 months now. She had my numbers good and stable since my first visit! She took me off meds that she didn’t feel were appropriate and put me on new meds instead of “old school” meds.. I’m just amazed at all she’s done for me!! She is so personable as well, even during my first visit. Every visit I’ve had, she’s willing to sit down, talk to you, explains everything and makes your visit a very nice one. Staff is super caring as well! If I could give them more than 5 stars, I would!

Very good Dr Shannon is. She listens and make sure you understand what's going on. She does not push pills on you. She treat everyone no matter the race gender and size with respect and authentic concern
