We reserved here after looking at reviews for many other nearby campgrounds. It's not the closest to Bar Harbor, and isn't on the water, but it's a nice place that's still a convenient 20-25 min. drive into Bar Harbor. We reserved site #240 in the back and it was huge. We probably could've fit 3 of our RVs on it it was so long. Site spacing was decent and all utilities worked great. I was happy to find you could pay $10 to wash your RV and truck on your site and certainly took advantage after being on the road for a month before we got here. Everyone mentions it's hard to find parking in Bar Harbor but we never had an issue on our stay the last week in June. We parked at a ball field just outside of downtown the first day, and found parking in paid lots right in the middle of Bar Harbor other days. Definitely visit Acadia while you're here. We especially enjoyed Jordan Pond & did the hike around the entire lake. We also went up to Cadillac Mountain for twice, the last time for sunset and it was beautiful. If you visit Jordan Pond make sure to eat at Jordan Pond House and get some popovers! We also enjoyed visiting Anemone Cave, Balance Rock, Ship Harbor Trail & Bass Harbor Head Light.
Colorado Dreaming
A very large campground with a short drive to Acadia. Room for all sizes and all sizes were there on a busy weekend we visited. We have a small RV so the first spot assigned was tucked in a shady site that was reasonably spaced from neighbors but unfortunately there was low voltage issues at the site since the park was full and the temperatures high enough that those who could were running a/c. The park sent a couple guys who tried to solve the power in our site but they were unable to. They found a site for us to move to, tested the power ahead of time, and offered to help us move. The new site was tucked in a small corner completely grass covered and likely not used often so it was a bit harder to get level but after setting up the second time we were very comfortable and enjoyed our time there. Although we had some issues at first the fact they were very friendly and did what they could to resolve issues in a timely manner meant a lot.

The staff of this place went out of their way to accommodate us, especially when we needed it most. The grounds are beautiful, the community is inviting, and the amenities are well-kept. If you are considering staying here, no need to hesitate!

We were in a larger lot with nice shade trees. Everyone was friendly and helpful. The place was very clean. Dog friendly!

Hi Brezy, We do "seasonal" residents from May to October!
Every weekend during the summer they have something different. Swimming pool, shuffleboard, playground. Check the website, Facebook
Around $2500 including taxes, give it take.
They do have tent sites but I'm not sure of this year's rate.
Would you have the week of 8/11-8/20 available WITH FULL HOOKUP ? We have a 26' travel trailer.
