I was here maybe a year ago and the food was great, service was great. Last night I met up with my brother and both of us were very disappointed. The menu looked smaller. For $30 I basically got a bowl of beef stew with very little meat and a tiny side of rice. I thought it was going to be a stir fry and even asked the server if it was something she’d recommend; I wish she would have told me what I was getting instead of encouraging it without a description. I have nothing against stew but this was very average/disappointing in flavor and neither of us finished our dinners.

Food was very good, drinks were also good. Unfortunately, I don't think we could go back. Maybe they're just understaffed, but our service was bad. One of our entrees never even arrived

My bro and I took a trip to DC over the weekend from NJ and found this place . This restaurant is beautiful . The food came and I was a bit disappointed , the food , I think was overly price . I orderechicken bbq( chicken inasal) chicken was dry , tough and chewy and we had to ask for plain rice .. usually I’m use to it ordering Filipino food & rice comes with it u don’t even have to request . I wasn’t going to eat my chicken with out rice so that’s extra . I’m use to ordering chicken inasal with atsara , rice & sauce on the side. At least that’s how it’s serve from Filipino restaurants I’ve been , Kalamansi juice was refreshing , their ube dessert was , ube flavored panacotta which was ok not too sweet though . there isn’t really anything unique or special about this place I’d say it’s overly price and mediocre :(

I feel like this weekend’s dinner matched my expectations having read reviews beforehand. Good food but subpar service. I think this place could be a victim of its success. Getting a Michelin award is no small feat, but with it comes higher expectations and larger crowds. I think management needs to train staff better, hire more people, or retain the highest performers with better pay. First time one of my reviews sounds like a management consulting article.
