It took four weeks to get an accident report. Every week we went in they would say the officer would be back the next week.

This station is impossibly awful! It took them two weeks to complete an accident report. When I picked up the report, the accident date was wrong. When I brought it to their attention, they actually said that i could have my insurance company call them! I hope to never get in an accident again if they have to be involved!

I had an excellent experience with District 7 this evening that I wanted to share. It all started with Mrs. Parker on dispatch. THE POBLEM: No one in my family or the people that care about her at work heard from my 27-year old daughter since last Thursday (5 days and highly unusual). Needless to say, there were a lot of people really worried about her safety. My daughter was not answering her phone calls or texts. I had solid reason to believe she was at an old boyfriend's home where he lives with his parents. Yeah, I could have driven to the house myself. But, if she wasn't answering my calls or texts why would she answer the door. For all I knew, he could have had her locked in the basement. And she currently had a battery charge against him. He could be violent with me. I didn't need that. It was time to seek help from the authorities. Mrs. Parker was extremely professional and empathetic to my needs. She recommended she dispatch a patrol car to do a "welfare check." ...just lay eyeballs on my daughter to let me know she was safe. Then she called to tell me that Officer Anise (Badge #2907) had accepted or taken her call. I was impressed. That's great customer service. She also asked if Officer Anise should call me. You bet! There may have been another officer and patrol car involved. Unfortunately, I don't know this officer's name or badge number. But, I do believe he or she was a valuable member of this overall team effort. I wanted to expressly thank District 7. I believe it was Officer Anise who told my daughter to call me. She did and I communicated my concerns to her. Bottom line, she's safe! And, she promised to come to our home tommorow to talk and explain her absence. But, I was most impressed with Mrs. Parker, her professionalism and attention to duty. She performed a yeoman effort bringing this all together to my overall satisfaction. If she were a subordinate under me in my military career, I would definitely recommend she deserves more responsibility and promote on next opportunity.
