This is such a non-responsible doctor. She did not mention anything at all of what could not be covered by insurance, just told us go ahead to do it. We were so unfortunate to get her service. Never want to see her any more, never!

Dr. Fitzgerald has been my doctor for years and she used to be great (or at least her nurse Connie was). But over the last couple of years her treatment has gotten worse and to be honest she is everything that is wrong with our medical system (this coming from a healthcare provider). I have had several positive skin TB tests and her office told me that I was likely just allergic to the test and to ask for a screener instead because I should not keep getting chest x-rays. My new job required a blood test for TB which is more accurate and again came back positive but my chest x-ray was negative. Even though it was negative my job requires we go to our PCP to discuss treatment options. I called and explained this to the front office and they made an appointment. I show up today, pay my co-pay and get taken back by the new nurse who seems confused on why ally job at a medical facility would send me there because you usually need a specialist (don’t know why since again my x-ray was fine). Then Dr. Fitzgerald comes in and says the same thing and informs me while she does recommend treatment she won’t prescribe the medication and I need to go to a pulmonologist. On top of that she is blown away that someone would say I was allergic and notes that she prefers to blood test because it is more accurate which is interesting since SHE is the one who told me I was allergic! Guess she forgot that conversation suddenly. She also said I hope you haven’t been on a certain medication recently…well had she actually reviewed my chart she would see that SHE prescribed that medication less than a year ago for me. So overall she spent 5 minutes of her time with me to not even help with my situation but took my $20 co-pay anyways. Basically this is just the straw that broke the camels back because this has happened to me several times with her. My mom has been telling me for years to find a different PCP and after today I 100% will!

Dr. Fitzgerald truly cares about her patients, she never presents herself as rushed. She gives you her undivided attention, answers questions, and asks great questions to fully understand your health concerns. Her staff is attentive you your needs when you call in and gets back to you readily. I highly recommend her services! Thank you Dr. Fitzgerald and staff for all you do!
