I have been going there several times now and they are fantastic person's so kind and understanding.The food is plenty and they even give frozen meat. At times they also have clothes for you to choose from. Great job all around. Thank you.

new 2 Deleon Springs Need no food...... but after reading what was said will not be going 2 this Church. Help should be for all not a few.

I went there for food assistance and sadly was denied because I was not a resident. Although I live a few Mike's assy. But they are following their guidelines. Otherwise they members were very understanding and pleasant.

We have been going to this church for help with food for 2 years ! Last Thursday we went along and were told that we were no longer in their area , previously we were told that because we live at Barberville we would qualify . It is only 6 miles up the road from Deleon . However after lining up for 30 mins we then got inside and were told we couldn't come anymore .There was barely anyone there so am guessing they didn't have to give out much food . We weren't even given anything at all ,Would Jesus have turned away people especially older disabled people like us . I think not ! This was so unchristian it was painful for us .They said go to Pierson church however we have also been turned away from them as they have numbers down there and if you can't get one there is no food ,twice we were refused there so where do we go ????? We are 70 years old and in need of food . Shame on you churches . Suzanne & Peter

Our food pantry made a very difficult decision a few years ago. So that we could focus and better serve our surrounding community, we made the decision to serve the needs of our community. This made us unable to serve those from other towns. We truly regret having to make that stipulation. If we had tried to continue as we were, we would have found ourselves in a position of not being able to serve anyone.
Currently we do not have a youth group. We do have a couple of young couples. One with two preschoolers and one with no children. We are prepared to serve the younger ones! Yes, we do sing contemporary music. Our worship time is blended (I really don't like that descriptor). We lean toward a more traditional worship service while remaining open to new ways of reaching out to the Lord in our praise of him.
