Interesting to see the raving reviews on "Biblical worship & teaching." Our experience has been on the "counselling" side which is neither Biblical or balanced, but biased, and "ear tickling" fits well. We have been direct witness to the failing of a covenantal marriage largely in part by thier "counselling." In this case, BOTH parties are responsible, yet only one has been given an invasive laundry list of "conditions to show repentance" while the other party gets to decide whether or not they will also agree to any condition, which, of course they refuse to, and that is acceptable by these "counsellors." In short, it's getting uglier by the day, by the Pampered Person who has been recieving this church's "counsel," which now includes a list of seriously illegal moves to illegally claim property owned by both parties. But this is OK to this church. I would submit that in most failing marriages, and certainly concerning this one; BOTH parties have been untrustworthy & fiscally irresponsible, BOTH need to be willing to submit to accountability. This husband/wife team have seriously catered to one side and significantly contributed to its demise. It's extremely grievous to observe & be a part of, and see "Biblical counsellors" teach in this way. How many other marriages & families have been negatively affected by their "counsel?" Thank you, Mark & Lisa. You're real winners. Please forgive me for not even wanting to visit this "church."
