Big hill park is the best!!!! Definitely miss some of the old playground, but been going here since I was in diapers, use to live down the road too. Hope they stay forever!!! Love the animals at night!

Big hills was my go to place to get some fresh air on Sunday and chill and hang out with my friends. Beautiful atmosphere and the fact it was found by one man back in 1880. He recognized its beauty and was the reason it is the park it is today. Most amazing view in Beloit over the rock river. Love it here.

This park, while seemingly small has quite the trails, views and overall setting. Beautiful layouts for an easy walk or a more challenging hike keep you busy. Multiple picnic areas stocked with tables, benches and even fire pits/fireplaces. On-site vault toilets leave a lot to be desired. I get it’s nature but a plumbed bathroom would make this a five star review for me.

This park is amazing. It is a good place for families or alone time. The park has nice play areas and plenty of trails to walk or hike.

Yes but may very due to covid.
Nature was created for us. We aren't disrupting it, we're enjoying it.
I have been going out there 35 years and have never seen a rattlesnake or any snake but that doesn't mean you will never see one take a walking stick it'll offer you a little protection and some distance if you make enough noise as you walk most snakes will leave it's when you surprise them that they bite
No. Try Hospital hill. Legit hill and has lights for night sledding.
