Awesome hiking experience, I cant wait to snowshoe and ski here come the big snow. Lots of biking, hiking, bushwacking, and pathfinding available. Great for every recreational activity you can dream of, except camping, I dont think you can do that here, maybe the other trail? Fun area, easy to get here, loads of parking; which is good once snow season comes, you need all the parking you can get.

Really love this trail and how it changes through the seasons. Very versatile, on any given day you will find hikers, bikers, cross country skiers, families, and runners. Wide trail for multiple use. If you travel far enough there are beautiful camping areas for backpackers. Multiple trails in other directions as well, there is always something new to explore and close enough to Missoula. The river that runs along the trail is just beautiful! Very well maintained as well.

An excellent trailhead for biking, hiking & horse back riding. Very easy to get to from Missoula. Every level of trail you could imagine. There are restrooms at the entrance but the ones on the trail are closed because of COVID19. Worth the stop.
