Took a friend to this hospital due to asthma attack. My friend was having a very hard time breathing and it didnt even seem to be a priority for this office. The didnt want to give oxygen or anything so he has been struggling with breathing. We have been waiting for over 3 hours as Im typing this we are still waiting. If you can help it do not waste your time at this hosptial unless you really have to come to this one. Might be a chance you don't make it. The nurses walk around calling peoples names that are already in rooms. Very nonchalant with no urgency for an emergency room.

Although, I hate going to ER/Hospital because of my illness at times when I have a "flare/blockage" I have no choice. I have had nothing but "good" experiences each time I've had to make that visit. Except for the horrible long wait time in the ER to get a room once on the 4th floor the medical/nursing team were nothing but God sent. They made sure that all my needs were met with a positive smile, cando attitute and the patience to listen to a "season" elder (smile) I would like to say Thank you to: Nica, Nedege, Ms. Pat, Aummn, Roishon, Lauren (wheelchair getaway.lol) Gordon and Latrice and of course Dr. Bishaw..You guys made my stay enjoyable..Keep up the good work..Keep praying and Never Ever Give Up..God Bless..Ms. D. Ward.

Quick call to triage but once in a room the Dr. Or nurse practitioner and staff were poor service.

My visit to this hospital was Horrible! I went there for severe back pain, I was in pain! I tried not to go but I couldn’t get in to see my ortho doctor so he said, go to the hospital. It started with the guy taking me to get a CT scan. The guy who pushed my wheelchair knocked my leg which was painful! Then I sat in the room for 30 min and a nurse comes in and he was worthless! I waited another 40 min still in pain for the so called doctor to come in. She sits in the chair and puts her feet up on my bed! Mind you I tell the doctor I knew this was a big flare up because the medicine I had wasn’t working. When things get this bad for me I need a basic reset! The doctor gives me toradol and Tylenol! If I’m telling you I took something stronger than Tylenol at home, why would you give me something OTC! After, I get the shot, they release me with something stronger than Motrin! The nurse comes in to discharge me and doesn’t even know the medicine the doctor gave me, he had to go and ask! The people at this hospital are unprofessional! They need a whole new staff who know how to perform their jobs with compassion and not employees who act like they are out with friends and the patients are being bothering them (I could hear them laughing, talking about cauliflower and other things before I got a visit)! I thought this hospital was still a very good hospital after the way they treated my family when my mom died in 2012. I guess all of that staff no longer works there and that is Truly sad! I will Never visit this hospital again and I suggest no one else does either! Unfortunately, I will have to go to another doctor because I’m still hurting and I have a job to do out of town!

No. The emergency room is not a testing site. Please visit the Maryland state website for testing information and a list of the closest testing sites. https://coronavirus.maryland.gov/pages/symptoms-testing You should only go to the emergency room for care if you have life-threatening conditions or are experiencing severe illness and/or pain.
