Beautiful park with wide open spaces. Plenty of fields to practice and play along with a playground, pavilion, and walking trails. There is even a collection of ponds at the back of the park that have an interesting back story. Here is a Panoramic picture that shows most of the park.

This is a great park with lots of open space and walking trails. Plenty of parking spread about the area.

Large park with a couple grass soccer fields. Has paved walking path around park and lots of grass for running. Park loop is about 2 miles. Has few ponds for fishing. Usually pretty free besides soccer games and events. Lots of parking.

I am not sure how good the fishing is, but there was no entry fee.

Before you get down to the water, there is a section fenced off. I often wonder if that could be a family cemetery.

I believe it is "officially" open dawn to dusk. We went there to look for the comet and there were a few others there as well. Sheriff car looped through but didn't even stop to ask what we were doing.
